Anna Speer
Anna Speer, a CHA certified riding instructor, has worked with horses and children all her life. She first fell
in love with riding as youngster, participating in Camp Wahoo, a wilderness horseback riding camp in the Cascade mountains
near her home in Washington State. After working her way up through the ranks from camper to staff, she helped create
Camp Tashunka, which focused on building leadership through horsemanship experiences. Anna studied Equine Science
at Montana State University, graduating in 2009. Her college summers were spent working as Riding Director for YWCA
Camp Westwind on the stunning Oregon coast. After graduation, Anna traveled to the UK to become a working student for David
Pincus, diving headfirst into the world of classical dressage.

Anna is a vivacious, personable instructor who couples a thorough understanding of the kinesthetics of riding
with a sense of wonder and playfulness. She feels that dressage fundamentals not only applicable but also necessary in
every other riding discipline. Her experiences with horse camps, both as a participant and as a director, have led
her to believe passionately in the positive impact that the right horse and the right instructor can have on a child's
personal growth. She specializes in young riders, as well as beginners of all ages.
